I had been planning a palette knife painting of New York for some time. While visiting the City in 2025 I took several photographs of various streets - I particularly wanted to work on a painting that captured the City in the evening just before dusk. The original oil painting is predominantly violet / blue with yellow and red accents. The painting is not framed. It can displayed directly on the wall or framed as required. The canvas is 1 inch deep so if framing a 1 inch or 2cm rebate will be required (unless using a floating frame).
